Asia Australia Mental Health (AAMH)

Since 2012, Janssen Asia Pacific has provided educational grants to Asia Australia Mental Health (AAMH) to support patient-centered service delivery training for the next generation of psychiatrists and associated healthcare workers. AAMH is a consortium of St. Vincent’s Health and the University of Melbourne’s Department of Psychiatry and Asialink. From 2013-2014, 440 emerging mental health leaders from across the Asia Pacific region participated in these training programs, which were collaboratively developed and delivered in partnership with national health organizations and mental health leaders. The training programs were tailored to incorporate specific cultural and national needs and priorities and strengthen existing professional networks and community linkages.
