Janssen Presents New Crohn’s Disease Research At UEG Week 2016

back to Janssen EMEA stories

The 24th Annual United European Gastroenterology (UEG) Week will be taking place in Vienna from 15–19 October. With over 14,000 people from across the world attending the congress, it is one of the largest meetings in Europe dedicated to digestive diseases. The meeting provides an opportunity for the gastroenterology community to learn about the latest advances in clinical management and new research in gastroenterology. We are excited to be participating in this world-renowned meeting and will be presenting new data from our research in Crohn’s disease.

We are proud to be sponsoring a symposium entitled: ‘Crohn’s disease: supporting patients in their pursuit of disease control’, which will take place on Tuesday 18 October at 17:45–19:15 in Room E1. The symposium is being chaired by Dr Severine Vermeire and will address the unmet medical needs in the treatment of Crohn’s disease, current therapeutic options and exciting new developments in the pipeline.

At Janssen, we continue to invest in research and the development of new therapies that meet the ongoing clinical unmet needs for people with immunological conditions. We aim to provide new hope and better health for people and their families living with immune and inflammatory diseases, such as Crohn’s disease.
