Janssen Oncology supports Cancer Survivors Day

Today we recognise and support National Cancer Survivors Day, an annual ‘Celebration of Life’ that is held in hundreds of communities around the world on the first Sunday in June. Organised by the National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation, the day aims to celebrate cancer survivors and inspire those recently diagnosed, while providing support to families and communities.

Janssen Oncology understands that every patient with cancer will face their own unique journey. We are dedicated to developing best-in-class research and treatments to help those living with cancer overcome their everyday challenges. Being able to celebrate survivorship is one of the Victories Over Cancer that drives us in our mission to redefine the future of cancer diagnosis and treatment.

One of the initiatives we are involved in to achieve Victories Over Cancer is Make Blood Cancer Visible, a campaign launched by us to give patients with rare cancers, often under-served or misunderstood, a voice in the world. The Make Blood Cancer Visible Patient Perspectives Book gathers these stories into a beautiful collection of personal stories shared by individuals affected by blood cancer from across Europe. We hope the sharing of these stories and experiences will help and inspire other patients and their family members, carers or friends.
