Janssen ranked in the top 15 of 100 best workplaces in Europe

(1 June, 2015) Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson has been recognised as one of the best multinational employers in Europe, according to the Great Place to Work® Best Workplaces in Europe 2015 list announced today during an awards ceremony in Luxembourg.

This recognition marks the first time Janssen has featured in the European top 15, as a result of ranking highly on several national Best Workplaces Lists in the region this year. Janssen was ranked 14 among 100 nominated companies and the second pharmaceutical company in the list.

Janssen in Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA) operates in over 100 countries and has local offices in more than 30 countries, with over 14,000 employees. In addition to nurturing talent and continually investing in the professional development of employees, every Janssen office is guided by the company Credo, a deeply held set of values that have served as the strategic and moral compass for generations of Johnson & Johnson leaders and employees.

The 2015 Great Place to Work®’s Best Workplaces in Europe can be found at www.greatplacetowork.net. It recognises organisations in Europe that are dedicated to sustaining consistent, high-trust workplace cultures for their employees across national borders. To be included, companies must be listed on at least three national Best Workplaces Lists in the region and, this year, Janssen has featured on the lists in Austria, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. More than 2,300 companies participated in national list studies in 19 countries where Great Place to Work is represented, and those nominated were selected and ranked predominantly on the opinions of employees via the Trust Index© Survey, which measures the levels of trust, pride, and camaraderie within an organisation.
