2016

Barron’s World’s Most Respected Companies The financial weekly Barron’s conducts an annual survey of institutional investors, rating the 100 largest public corporations (based on market capitalization) in order of the respect they have garnered from these institutions. Johnson & Johnson topped the list this year and has been included on this list since its inception eight years ago.

DigiPharmax Janssen India was named the Digital Pioneer of the Year during the Digital Pharma Excellence Awards 2016 presented by Business World magazine. The accolade was awarded in special recognition of the contribution Janssen India has made in the area of mobility and digitization in the Indian pharmaceutical industry.

DigiPharmax Janssen India’s patient awareness campaign “Me Without Migraine” for migraine won two awards ‘Leveraging Technology for Pharma Social Media Campaign’ & ‘Leveraging Technology for the Digital Community’ at the DigiPharmax 2016 awards.

SABRE Award Janssen India was awarded the ‘Gold Sabre Award’ for Excellence in Public Relations programming in the healthcare category for the South –Asia region for its ‘Me Without Migraine’ awareness campaign

Vogue At the 2016 Vogue India Beauty Awards, Janssen India’s cosmetology brand RoC Retin-Ox Correxion Intensive Anti-Wrinkle Serum won the best anti-aging serum category award.

Cannes Lion 2016 Our efforts on creating awareness about Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) among patients and caregivers was recognized during the 2016 Cannes Award. This awareness campaign aimed at getting parents to identify ADHD symptoms and consult their Doctor to seek appropriate treatment for their children, won two bronze awards at the Cannes Lion 2016.

InterbrandHealth Janssen was named one of the most valuable corporate brands in the biopharmaceutical industry by InterbrandHealth in its new report of the world’s “Best Pharma Brands.” Janssen ranked number four in this inaugural study, which examines what value means to healthcare professionals and illustrates the influence a corporate brand has in conveying that value. The report applauds Janssen for its ability to build strong, lasting relationships with practitioners, payers and policymakers, while delivering transformative healthcare solutions for patients.

Fortune Magazine For the third consecutive year, Fortune Magazine ranked Johnson & Johnson/Janssen number one in the Pharmaceuticals category on its annual World’s Most Admired Companies list. This list is based on the perceptions of 4,000 executives, corporate directors and security analysts both within and outside the pharmaceuticals industry. Overall, Johnson & Johnson ranked number 15 among all 340 companies, across all industries. Johnson & Johnson is also one of only a select few companies based in the United States that has been on the list for more than 30 consecutive years.

IDEA Pharma For the fourth consecutive year, IDEA Pharma, an industry-leading consultancy, ranked Johnson & Johnson/Janssen number one, among 30 pharmaceutical companies, in its sixth annual Productive Innovation Index (PII). The PII ranking is unique because it not only measures a company’s ability to discover and develop solutions for patients, but also its ability to commercialize its innovations.

BioSpace Johnson & Johnson/Janssen was named the top pharmaceutical company to work for by BioSpace, a leading industry platform for life sciences professionals. The report is based on Fortune Magazine’s 2016 World’s Most Admired Companies list, where Johnson & Johnson/Janssen was ranked number one in the Pharmaceuticals category for the third consecutive year.

2015

Fortune Magazine Our focus on providing innovative therapies and services to transform the lives of patients was recognized by FortuneMagazine, which ranked Johnson & Johnson as the number one company in the Pharmaceuticals category on its list of the World's Most Admired Companies for the second year in a row. Across all categories, Johnson & Johnson ranked number 11 – up from number 19 last year. Fortunerecognized us for becoming one of the first healthcare companies to agree to share clinical trial data and diagnostic tests with researchers at Yale University. Fortune also noted that Johnson & Johnson announced it was testing an Ebola vaccine, positioning itself for a new role in world health.

IDEA Pharma For the third consecutive year, IDEA Pharma named Johnson & Johnson as the Most Productive Global Pharmaceutical Company in its fifth annual Productive Innovation Index (PII). The PII measures and ranks companies based upon their ability to not only discover but also commercialize new medicines.

AWACS Marketing Excellence Awards 2015 Janssen India’s Ultracet won the Brand of the Year and Invega Sustenna was conferred with the Best New Introduction award at the 2015 AWACS Marketing Excellence Awards. AWACS instituted its Marketing Excellence in Pharma Industry Awards with the objective of encouraging marketing excellence in Pharma.

Cannes Lions Health Lions Health is an experience that seeks to challenge the industry’s norms and motivate it to change the course of healthcare communications. Janssen India’s vertigo awareness campaign won a Bronze at Cannes Lions Health in the year 2015.

Abby’s Award Our “Spinning Living Room – Dizziness campaign” for vertigo awareness, won a Bronze at Abby Awards 2015. The ABBY Awards are considered the Oscars of the Indian ad awards to honour creative excellence in the field of advertising.

2014

Great Place to Work Johnson & Johnson ranked as the number one healthcare company in the 2014 “Best Companies to work for in India” study conducted by Great Place to World® Institute, India and The Economic Times.

Access To Medicine Index (ATMI) Johnson & Johnson ranked number three in the fourth biannual Access to Medicine Index (ATMI), which documented significant industry-wide progress during the period June 2012-May 2014, toward improving access to medicines for the millions of people in need of treatment and care who live in low- and middle-income countries. The report’s impartial review of our efforts compared to those of the rest of the industry provides valuable feedback for our future endeavors, including areas for improvement. It also is a key resource for our stakeholders and serves as the benchmark for our access strategies around the world.

Salveson Stetson Group Johnson & Johnson was identified as the most desirable "Big Pharma" employer for its innovation in research and development (R&D) according to a survey by Salveson Stetson Group, a retained executive search firm that works in the life sciences space. More than 220 pharmaceutical industry employees were surveyed. The reason cited most frequently for ranking a company high as an employer was innovation, named by 62 percent of respondents. Other factors mentioned were portfolio (45 percent), corporate image (42 percent), work environment (42 percent) and pipeline (42 percent). Compensation was one of the least important attributes, named by only 18 percent of respondents.

Fortune Magazine Our focus on providing innovative therapies and services to transform the lives of patients was recognized by FortuneMagazine, which ranked Johnson & Johnson as the number one company in the Pharmaceuticals category on its list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. This was up from number four the previous year. Johnson & Johnson improved or maintained its ranking on all nine attributes of reputation.  Across all categories, Johnson & Johnson ranked number 19 – up from number 23 the previous year – and it was the only healthcare company to make the list of the Top 50. It is also one of a select few U.S.-based companies to be included among Fortune’s Most Admired Companies for the past 30 years.

IR Magazine Johnson & Johnson won the 2014 award for best IR practice in the Pharmaceutical sector from IR Magazine. The awards are based on a rigorous, open-ended survey of the investment community. This was the second year in a row that the team was recognized by the magazine for their outstanding work.

Rx Club Award Our “Spinning Living Room – Dizziness campaign” for vertigo awareness, won the Gold Award at Rx Club Award in 2014. The Rx Club Show has grown to become an international icon in the healthcare industry. The show is judged in various categories by a panel of industry experts and is based solely on creativity.
