Our Contribution to Partnership Working
"We believe our first responsibility is to the doctors, nurses and patients, to mothers and fathers and all others who use our products and services....
We are responsible to the communities in which we live and work...."
The values that guide us are described in Our Credo. Put simply, Our Credo challenges us to always put the needs and well-being of the people we serve first.
It is important for us to understand all aspects of patients’ needs. That’s why we engage and collaborate with patient organisations who play an important role in informing, supporting and assisting patients. These relationships provide us with important information. This information not only helps us to understand how we can best support patients now but also shapes our longer term research and development programme to ensure we are able to provide the treatments patients need in the future.
It is our goal to ensure that these relationships and partnerships proceed within a principled framework of mutual respect and learning, integrity, independence and transparency.
In Ireland, the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA) publishes a Code of Practice. As a member of the IPHA, Janssen has committed to comply with the Code and to operate in a professional, ethical and transparent manner to ensure that our medicines are used appropriately.
