Patient-centric approaches to psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis care at EADV 2015

The 24th Annual European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology 2015 Congress (EADV) is currently taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Janssen Immunology team are excited to present a variety of research on the psychosocial burden and real world patient outcomes in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (PsA). In particular, data from the EPIDEPSO study, supported by Janssen, has been accepted as an oral presentation. This non-interventional study examines the relationship between psoriasis and psychological disorders and is a prime example of how the immunology team are committed to expanding the overall disease knowledge base to help improve quality of life for people living with psoriasis. The Congress also coincides with a publication in the JEADV, presenting a framework of calls to action to improve the PsA patient experience across Europe1.

Janssen is committed to pursuing the advancement of science by delivering breakthrough medicines to make a difference in people’s lives. The latest dermatological developments truly reflect the importance of early intervention and how we want to shorten the journey from diagnosis to treatment. Through collaboration, we look to transform how immune and inflammatory diseases are treated today – and prevented tomorrow.
