Patient Partnership Index
At Janssen, our first priority is to patients and we are delighted to have been awarded ‘GOLD standard’ in the inaugural Patient Partnership Index 2020!
The Index is a novel initiative, designed to highlight the very best examples of partnerships between pharma companies and patient groups. We are incredibly proud of our Patient Engagement & Advocacy team here at Janssen UK, who work to build trusted, transparent and lasting relationships with patient organisations. This recognition, which is the highest possible accolade in the Patient Partnership Index, only reaffirms our commitment to ensuring that patient needs are always at the centre of all our decision making.
As part of the feedback from an expert judging panel, Janssen UK was recognised for focusing on both innovation and impact. One notable example was our commitment to ensuring representation of patient voices through our unique 'Patient Advisory Committee' (PAC). Founded in 2019, the Patient Advisory Committee brings together a dedicated group of patients who challenge us to ensure the patient voice is present across all key areas of our business.
In addition to the establishment of the Janssen PAC, we have also had the privilege of working with some amazing patient advocacy groups and organisations over the last few years. Through all of these different partnerships and interactions, we remain intent on supporting and improving patient-centred outcomes.
Receiving the GOLD standard award in the Patient Partnership Index only inspires us further to continue putting patients at the heart of everything we do at Janssen.
