Our Credo

Our Credo

As part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, the values that guide our decision-making are spelled out in Our Credo. Put simply, Our Credo challenges us to put the needs and well-being of the people we serve first.

Our Credo was crafted by Robert Wood Johnson in 1943. It is more than just a moral compass – it is a recipe for success and a guide to being a responsible citizen of the world, since long before the phrase ‘corporate social responsibility’ was coined.

We draw on Our Credo to make decisions every day at every level of the company. Our Credo is a living document that has changed over time to meet the needs of our stakeholders in which we live and work. Even as Our Credo evolves, the spirit of the document remains the same as when it was first written in 1943.
