Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity is a natural part of the global culture across Janssen. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is deeply rooted in our values and is exemplified in a number of our companies’ programmes and activities.
We believe that one of the best ways to understand and meet the needs of our patients and customers, is to have a workforce that reflects diversity - so with a unique, global diversity & inclusion strategy, we are taking steps to build the most inclusive environments and maximise the diverse talent in our company.
To help encourage the most inclusive culture at Janssen in the UK, we have created a Diversity & Inclusion committee focused on several workstreams including:
- Building a diverse workforce by bringing the organisation closer together
- Addressing work life balance by incorporating flexible working
- Building inclusive environments by celebrating our differences and overcoming unconscious bias
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
ERGs are voluntary employee-led groups that focus on leveraging shared identities, affinities and experiences to lead initiatives that align with the enterprise diversity and inclusion strategy. They enable us to attract and retain diverse talent, provide employee leadership development programmes and support several community-patient initiatives to drive greater healh and wellness education for all.
