Jean Walters is the Global HIV and Viral Vaccines Disease Area Stronghold Commercial Leader, overseeing and collaborating with a cross-functional team. She is an accomplished leader with broad experience in managing blockbuster pharmaceuticals and vaccines – from early product development through launch and loss of exclusivity.

Jean has been with Johnson & Johnson since 2014. Her prior roles include Respiratory Infections Disease Area Stronghold Co-Commercial Leader as well as Global Marketing Leader in Immunology for the Pulmonary and Inflammatory Bowel Disease areas.

Previously, Jean was Director, Marketing Pipeline Products for Respiratory and Immunology at Boehringer Ingelheim. She was also Global Marketing Leader, Allergic Rhinitis at Merck. Jean’s experiences at Merck Vaccines included roles in the US Strategic Customer Group, as well as leading commercial pediatric, adolescent and adult vaccines teams from early development through product launch with responsibility for both US and global markets.

Jean has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Arts from Michigan State University.
