Janssen Research & Development, LLC and Johnson & Johnson Innovation, JLABS launched the Carcinogenic Exposure Meter QuickFire Challenge, aimed to help foster innovation that can measure the impact of cigarettes with the goal of reducing tobacco use by motivating young smokers to quit smoking. Innovators from across the world were invited to develop “carcinogenic exposure meters” to better quantify the damage known to play a role in carcinogenesis resulting from exposure to tobacco.
